Associate Veterinarian

Pinnacle Veterinary Group
New
Clemson, South Carolina

Full-time or part-time opportunity! Pinnacle Veterinary Group in Clemson, SC is seeking a veterinarian to join our practice. PVG is an exclusively small animal, AAHA accredited, privately owned practice that focuses on exceptional customer service and patient care. We have a fantastic support staff, all the good toys, an aesthetically pleasing clinic in a great location with plenty of activities to enjoy. What sets us apart from other clinics, though, is the quality of life we offer our staff. Our practice is built on the foundation that happy employees are the best employees so we do all we can to ensure that happiness. We keep our hours such that everyone has plenty of time outside of work to have a real life. 8:30 to 5, Monday through Friday with a break period between 12-2 to have lunch and catch up, if needed. Our full-time employees have the option of a four, four and a half, or five day work week. We don’t over-book ourselves and keep a LVT and assistant on each doctor team to be sure that there are plenty of hands to help each other. During the work day we make sure that our staff get the breaks they need. They have plenty of time to go grab something at one of the many nearby restaurants or just hang out in our large break room complete with table, couch, TV and clinic-supplied treats and coffee. Our clients and patients never take precedent over the well-being of our staff. Just as we do our best to treat each client and patient the way we want to be treated, we expect the same from our clients and have a zero-tolerance policy for rude or unkind behavior toward our staff. Fortunately, this is something we rarely face because we have a friendly, supportive, and appreciative clientele who love their pets and prefer gold standard care. Our staff is supportive of each other and are always ready to step up if anyone needs time off. They work very hard but it’s not unusual to catch them breaking out into dance when they hear a familiar song, passionately lip-syncing into the end of the mop handle, or even, depending on what bet may have just been lost, running across the road and jumping in the lake! They’re a pretty fun crowd and would love to have another work hard-play hard co-worker. Bonus points if you have some good jokes to share or play a mean air-guitar! If not, that’s ok, too, as long as you can appreciate such talents. This associate position we are looking to fill will be part time (1-3 days/week depending on candidate's preferences) with the primary responsibility of performing surgeries and dental procedures. No exam room responsibilities are required unless desired, though associate may be asked to see occasional drop off appointments if the other doctors fall behind. The opportunity for growth into a full time general associate position is expected if our new associate prefers that over part time. Our new associate must be confident and efficient in surgeries and dental procedures typical of those seen in small animal private practice. They must also feel comfortable mentoring younger associates in those procedures. Compensation will be based on experience, schedule, and production ability. If you’d like to get to know us a little better, feel free to find us on Facebook and/or visit our website at www.pinnacleveterinarygroup.com Please email drworl@pinnacleveterinarygroup if you’re interested in joining our practice.

Kick Ass Veterinarian

New London Veterinary Center
Newark, Delaware

OK, I get it. Your chosen career is awesome but the people can sometimes suck. Or maybe you've been swallowed up by the corporate monster and have lost the personal connection to practice. So don’t settle for a crappy existence anymore, come practice in a place where you can actually reap the rewards you’ve worked so hard to earn – personally, professionally and financially. Yeah, we’ve got all the bells and whistles – Cat Friendly, Veterinary Management Group (VMG) member, cool gadgets, awesome facility, blah, blah, blah… everybody has those things these days. But here’s where we’re a little different. 30 minute appointments (or more) – get to work your cases up like you were trained to. Smart clients that actually listen to what you say and are willing to go the extra mile. A great demographic where you can easily earn enough to pay your student loan and that extra box of Ramen this month. Real mentorship from people who have been there, done that, and got the t-shirt to prove it. Really smart and nerdy specialists not far away when you need a little help. Sister hospital down the road to share ideas (and cases). Employee benefits that strengthen both the body and the mind. Live on the edge of the big city and the rolling hills of Eastern Pennsylvania – get the best of both worlds. A big enough practice to support the best benefits but still private and family run - practice where you matter. This is a hospital that’s making waves in the area because we really do practice our own way – and our clients love us for it. Part time or full time, if you're awesome, we want to meet you. At a time when the corporates are cutting doctor salaries (maybe even yours) to hit a short term target, we're investing in the future. And yes, if we come across the right go-getter, partnership and ownership are part of your path too. So come recharge your professional excitement and have fun again.
