The Purdue University Veterinary Hospital is looking for enthusiastic, skilled credentialed veterinary technicians to work in Farm Animal Community Practice (FACP). The FACP team operates from ambulatory trucks to serve bovine, caprine and ovine patients on farms of varying sizes around West-Central Indiana. They will utilize their basic and advanced technical skills to support the veterinarians in production medicine and theriogenology practice, including Advanced Reproductive Technology (ARTs). The FACP Technicians will be responsible for electronic medical record data entry and billing procedures. They will be maintain a clean ready room and ambulatory truck fleet.
The FACP team works Monday-Friday, and will participate in rotating on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends and holidays for both farm animal and equine ambulatory emergency cases.
