While Simon and Jenni (the owners) will say this is a great place to work, you should hear it from our team. "I love that they really helped me learn how to be the best veterinarian. They took their time and taught me as a new graduate. I never felt like I was alone and that still holds true 8 years later." - Dr. Brittany Worobey - joined DVC family in 2014. "I choose to work here because the team is supportive during the learning process with understanding and a sense of humor when situations beyond one's control arise." - Lori Anander, Receptionist - joined DVC in 2020 Dr. Simon George and his wife and partner, Jenni, wanted to start a clinic that offered the best in customer service and patient care while creating an family-friendly atmosphere where the team can have fun and be included in decisions that are made. And we feel that we have succeeded in this endeavor. We respect that new graduates need time and mentoring which all four of our doctor's are happy to provide. With Dr. George living right next door, you are never alone and will not be thrown to the wolves without proper training and guidance. Our goal is for everyone to feel like family while practicing medicine in the style of James Herriot - caring for our patients and clients with empathy and the best medicine available.
Our schedule varies day by day. One or two days of the week will be small animal appointments in the clinic. One to two days a week would be farm calls on the road. One day would be split with surgery in the morning and appointments in the clinic in the afternoon. Saturdays are every third week. On-calls are split evenly between the doctors one night a week and roughly one weekend every 5 weeks. You have Monday off right after your weekend on-call. Holidays are also split evenly with all doctors.
No need to to fill out endless forms. We'll analyse your resume in seconds and let you make any adjustments.
