Currently we are hiring full or part-time veterinary technicians for our busy small animal practice. We pay for you to get your CVA (Certified Veterinary Assistant) certifications: level 1, 2, & 3! Below is a little about what we need from you: The veterinary technician is the veterinarian’s primary medical support. They begin the examination procedure and continue to assist the doctor throughout the examination, diagnosis, and treatment phases. They aid the veterinarians in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of technical work and administrative detail. They have a very significant role in communicating with and educating clients about their pets.
Workday
We work on 2 shifts. AM shift runs from 7/7:30 am-3 pm, and the afternoon shift runs 1:15/1:30-9 pm. The Saturday shift is 8:30/9 am-4 pm
Here's what you'll be doing
- Monitor and care for medicine patients
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples
- Monitor and maintain general anaesthesia
- Diets and Nutrition
- Radiography
- Educating animal owners
- Post-op care for surgery patients
