Why choose this job

Why consider Fairbanks, Alaska? We have unmatched access to the great outdoors, summer and winter. We don't have to deal with the hassels of traffic and crowds. We have the appeal of a smaller community with most of the "big city" ammenities. We get to practice real veterinary medicine and not refer everything to the specialist down the street. Our associates have access to mentorship from DVMs with a wide variety of interests as well as support from the rest of the team of technicians and assistants. A successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their horizons both professionally and personally. Our relatively remote location lends to exposure to a wide variety of cases. We work within a community that collaborates not just within our practice, but also with practitioners across the state.

Our full time DVMs work 4 days per week, 8AM-5:30PM or 8:30AM-6PM with a 1 hour scheduled lunch break and 1 hour scheduled "catch up" time every day. Each DVM gets one surgery day per week (if desired). Closed Saturdays & Sundays
