AAHA certified small animal and exotics hospital looking for our 4th veterinarian. We have a great staff with many years of experience and our clinic highly leverages the staff members so that a veterinarians focus can be on diagnosis and treatment of patients. We have a paperless computer appointment schedule and problem oriented medical record. Our system also allows the possibility of contacting a client by text or email if needed. Our focus is on providing great care for a pet but also good communication for the owners of those pets. We consider our bonds with our clients to be very strong and work hard to make our patients lives the best that they can be. Our veterinarians have years of experience and we are interested in mentoring if needed to find a great associate. New Graduates should apply! We have mentored many technicians and veterinary students in the past. Available equipment includes therapy laser, surgical laser, Sonoscape Elite ultrasound, IM- 3 dental equipment and digital xrays and digital dental xrays. Our computer system is Client trax. South Bend Mishawaka is home to the University of Notre Dame, St Mary's College, Bethel College and Holy Cross College. If you are looking for work life balance--the area has many new restaurants and breweries. We are within 1 hour of Lake MIchigan and if you drive just a little farther, you can be in Chicago for the day. You can camp or horseback ride in Potato Creek State Park, run in the South Bend Sunburst Race or kayak on the East Race. Both South Bend and Mishawaka have large farmers markets available on weekends and some weekdays. Notre Dame and St Mary's have provided a diverse array of sporting events and concerts. The Morris and the South Bend Civic Theater also provide opportunities for concerts, plays and events.
