We are searching for an experience veterinary technician that would be interested in overnights at our practice. We understand the importance of this position and are searching for YOU! You would be providing care and support for hospitalized patients through the overnight at our hospital.
Workday
Typical days are 8pm-6am 4 days a week (in a row). This provides 4 days on, 3 days off for a better work life balance. Everyone works a weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday).
Here's what you'll be doing
- Monitor and care for medicine patients
- Monitor and care for emergency and critical patients
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples
- Post-op care for surgery patients
- Radiography
- Educating animal owners
- Diets and Nutrition
